The South Central Regional Council of Governments (SCRCOG) is committed to developing an integrated and efficient multi-modal transportation system which will facilitate the movement of people and goods in the region. To facilitate this SCRCOG prepares the regional long-range transportation plan (LRTP) which addresses broad goals for the transportation needs of the Region. SCRCOG maintains the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) which identifies all projects expected to be funded with federal participation in the region, while the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) outlines the tasks SCRCOG will accomplish during each fiscal year.
